ALL DAY and Every Day throughout the Festival Week: Snow Maze at the elementary school football field. Sponsored by Village of Ontonagon & Ontonagon DPW.
7pm: Community Band Concert - Ontonagon Theater of Performing Arts.
Saturday, March 4
All Day: Ice Fishing Contest at 6 Mile Lake, sponsored by Greig’s Taxidermy. For info call 884-2770.
8:30am-10pm: Snowmobile Drag Races behind Y-101 Studios (M-38). Registration 8:30-10am. Races begin 11am. Call 884-9668 for more info. Sponsored by Y-101 radio station and the Ontonagon Tourism Council.
10am: Jock Kemp Memorial Snowshoe Race: Rose Island. Sponsored by the Ontonagon County Historical Society. Call 884-6165 for more info.
1pm: Doc’s Bar Memorial Partners Pool Tourney: $20 per team, first 16 teams accepted, alternate shots, 100% payback. Call 884-2505 for more info.
7pm: Partners Smear Tournament at the Eagles Club. Call 884-2520 for more info.
6:30pm: Snowmobile Drag Race Awards Banquet. Shamrock Bar.
5pm- midnight: Shamrock Bar “Be A Rock Star II” Karaoke Contest. Sponsored by the Playground Committee. 5-7pm is open practice, 7:30pm judging starts. Call 884-2310 for more info.
Sunday, March 5
1pm: Copper Country Curling Club demonstrations and participation fun! Ontonagon Recreational Facility. Come see how “curling” works and participate in some fun & learn the sport. Sponsored by the Copper Country Curling Club.
Tuesday, March 7
Snowman contest entries are due: Open to area residents. $75 first place, $40 second place and $25 third place. Judging will take place on Friday, March 10 at 4pm. Sponsored by the Ontonagon DDA and The Lake Superior Voice. Call 884-6011 for more info. Click here for the entry form.
Friday, March 10
4pm: Snowman Contest Judging of area homes that entered the contest. Winners to be announced at the snowman burning, Saturday night at 8pm.
4-8pm: Ontonagon Downtown Business Night (Putt-Putt Golf Fun and Individual Business SNO-BAY Auctions): Fun for all ages. Area downtown businesses will sponsor a night for customers. Nine businesses will have putt-putt golf holes set up as well as auctions for some of their winter inventory (bid on items or use the BUY NOW price). Come downtown and join in the fun. Cash prizes for winners of Putt-Putt in 2 divisions. Sponsored by the Ontonagon downtown businesses. For more info contact Sandy Baker at 884-6011.

9am-4pm: Snowmobile USSA Prostar Series Oval Racing & Snow Cross. 11am racing starts. North Country Snowmobile Club, Highway M-64. Watch pro racers on our new oval track. Food & refreshments. Spoonsored by Norm Pestka Contruction, North Country Snowmobile Club, Michigan Republican U.S. Candidate Jerry Zandstra, the Western Upper Peninsula Visitors and Convention Bureau, Moyle Contruction, and Lac Vieux Desert Resort and Casino. Gate fee charged.
1pm: Antique Snowmobile Show & Ride: Across from Pat’s Foods (big field). Sponsored by Tom’s Service Center. Antique snowmobiles on display & a fun short ride. Fun competitive races. For more info call Tom at 884-4175.
3pm: Partners Cribbage Tournament: Ontonagon VFW. Sponsored by the VFW Club.
6pm: Figure Skating Club Program. Recreational building ice rink.
8pm: Snowman Burning, Bonfire & Social Gathering: Across from Pat’s Foods (M-38, next to Tom’s Service Center). Food & refreshments, 50/50 tickets sold. Come watch us say goodbye to the long winter! Sponsored by the Ontonagon DDA.
9:30pm: Community Sno-Go-Bye DANCE, Eagles Club. 50/50 drawings. Must have Sno-Go-Bye button to get in (they will be sold at the door). Come kick up your heels to the fun and fabulous music of BORDERLINE. Sponsored by the Ontonagon DDA.

10am-4pm: Snowmobile USSA Prostar Series Oval Racing & Snow Cross Finals Continues. North Country Snowmobile Club, Highway M-64.

Buttons will be sold on both weekends as well. You must have a button to participate/watch in any event.
